A Personal Plea from the Treasurer
Dear All,
The Kells household received some exciting news recently. Our daughter, Lisa Kells, has been invited to join Team UK for an International Power Lifting competition against the USA!
It is a huge honour, which she has accepted, and we are immensely proud of her. However there is a snag in that the event will be in Reno (on the 14th October) and the selected athletes have to self-fund all their own flights, accommodation and food costs (expected to be over £2,500).
Please see the attached document for further information of Lisa’s Power Lifting ability and the reason why, despite being a fully qualified doctor / surgeon, she needs your help to fund her International Competition Dream.
If you can help her with a donation towards her costs she would be incredibly grateful, and of course we will let you know how she gets on after the 14th October!
