The annual Seniors Captain v Vice Captain Match took place earlier (15/04/25) with 15 single matches of matched handicaps competed for. By matching handicaps, as far as possible, there were no huge shot differentials, and only 2 of the matches had more than 1 shot difference between the competitors.

Players expressed their enjoyment of the format, no doubt added to by the weather which was both drier and warmer than anticipated!

As always there was some great banter, both on the course and in the clubhouse afterwards, with the Captain’s team blaming their bad luck, and the Vice Captain’s team’s good luck, for their substantial defeat.

Full details of the individual matches is attached, but the result was a 9.5 to 5.5 victory for the Vice Captain’s Team.
