On the 18^th March, on a sunny day, the new Ladies Captain Vonnie Savage had her drive-in. She had hit some good drives playing a few holes the night before. Unfortunately, her Drive-in did not go to plan and her drive ended up short and left. She took it in good humor and had a good laugh.

Beryl Stewart won the prize for guessing where Vonnie’s drive landed.

This was followed by a 9-hole competition. This was won by the team of Margaret McCarthy, Sam Jones and Val Sharpe with 39 points, beating June Gaunt, Beryl Stewart and Lisa Hutchins, who were second with 37 points.
