Last night, 10th November, the Ernest Goodwin dinner and trophy presentation was held at the Club.

This competition is played annually and is open to the current mens Captain, ex Captains, ex officials, Vice Captain and current Committee Members to participate.

The actual competiton was played earlier in the year, 18th August, but for logistical reasons the dinner was delayed until last night.

It was attended not only by many of the players but also by past qualifying Members too, and after an excellent meal prepared by Teresa, Steve and their hard working staff, the Captain Phil Taylor presented the Ernest Goodwin Trophy to Trevor Parrett.

It was a little while ago so we needed to check the records to see that Trevor won the competiton with a stableford score of 38pts, beating runner up Pete Labas who was 2 points behind him.
