Our Seniors Fiddle group meet on a Tuesday and Thursday morning for social and competition golf through the year.

We have a couple of knockout competitions which run from early summer and these concluded today with both the singles and pairs finals being played. Pairs partners having been randomly drawn prior to the first round.

A shame that the weather was not playing ball today and after the heavy rain last week the conditions were tough for all involved.

Congratulations go to Trevor Haslam winner by 4&3 over Paul Eveson in the singles match. The pairs game was a closer affair with Gordon Kells and John Smith eventually victorious on the 17th green with a 2&1 win over Gordon Allsop and Paul Russell.

Well done to all who participated and especially to the winners.
