At the Golf Club we annually hold a team match between the Captain and the Vice Captain. To avoid arguments of bias the Captain Dereck Martin decided that the teams would be randomly drawn out of a hat which was done on this morning alongside Vice Captain Pete Labas.

Last year’s Vice Captain had won this fixture so the Captain was keen to reverse the result this time.

Much to Captain’s delight his team secured a well fought victory 4 matches to 2 and the Centenary Tankard was presented to him by the Vice Captain in the Clubhouse after the competition.
